Hello folks, Tanya-mod here with some unfortunate news. After some discussion, Jester and I have decided to close the Myth Making down. I can't speak for Jester on this, but I personally am not in a good enough space mentally to be what you all need from a mod, and attempting to keep the game going has been a struggle for a while now.

We are so, so glad to have had you with us here at Myth Making. It's been a pleasure reading all of your threads, as well as interacting with you. While we could pass the game into better hands, as I'm sure there are people out there who could handle this better than we have, we felt it best to put it to rest now instead of stringing you all along with feeble event attempts and minimal interaction on our part.

Thank you for making the game work for as long as it has, even if it wasn't all that long, and I'm so sorry we've failed you guys. I hope you continue to enjoy yourself in any other games you may be in or may join in the future, and I hope you have at least made a few new friends while here.

Hello, hello everyone! My name is Kaye and I'll be bringing in this ~~horrible~~ lovely young lady to the game.

This pink-headed delight is Anemone of Eureka Seven fame, specifically the anime. She's an... interesting.... person to say the least (if by interesting you take that as rude, bratty, nasty, etc). In all seriousness she can be a huge brat with issues when it comes to behaving nicely, but she also gets crippling headaches and nosebleeds as a side effect of human experimentation. It's not a lot of fun, even if she'd have you believe otherwise. As for her fairytale roll, Anemone has the part of the Princess from the story of The Green Knight. Basically if she reads an action out loud from a book (e.g. "the wind blew" or something like that), then it'll happen in real life.

1) Shiro Yoshiwara (

He's a freeloading bum who makes beautiful but impractical parasols for a living. His hobbies include collecting junk, turning junk into art, hitting on women and not wearing clothes.

His role in this game is The Little Mermaid, which means he won't be opening his perverted little mouth any time soon.

2) Kurei (

flameofouka) from Flame of Recca

He's your emo mid-90s-early 2000s manga villain complete with mask, scar, dark robes, a nice manicure and purple lipstick. He's a ninja with flame powers, so he's kinda like Prince Zuko and the Akatsuki rolled into one.

His role in this game is The Snow Queen because ~~I thought it would be funny~~ of his tendency to adopt orphans into his army.

Either way! Best way to describe Battler would be to say... well, that he's a shameless pervert. He'll harass anything female, say tons of jokes and try to advance on them, but in the end it's just his way of Battler-like humor. He won't actually do anything since he's too much of a nice guy for that, pervs gotta be smacked if they take it too far after all! Also, he went through a tragedy on his family's private island, and his entire existence from that point on was to basically dispute against witches and magic. He doesn't believe in them!! ...But he can do some magic too, oddly enough. idk umineko canon and abilities one can't just explain.

Hey guys! Tanya here. Sorry to those of you we just scooted in a little late, we're still getting our bearings again after the holidays and the winter blues! I'd like to welcome all you knew folks to Myth Making, and inform you all of a new event that I'm going to be popping up in a bit. It's not necessary to take part in it, and in fact at the beginning of it it may be easy to ignore entirely!

You see, beginning tomorrow, a few of the townsfolk will be wandering Märchen looking for their things. Small objects have begun disappearing here and there; a sock, a tool, a loaf of bread. Things that aren't worth much, but are just important enough that you'd notice it being gone.

Over the next week, even your characters may find little belongings going missing! It's just small things for now, and the new folks are of course free to participate, even if they haven't got much to lose at the moment.

Hello, fair fables! I'm Kelsey, here with Iceland from Hetalia, a series about anthropomorphic nations who go to parties.

Iceland has a bit of a duel temperament, being shy and somewhat frosty towards most people, but get under his skin and he's sensitive with quite a temper! No worries, he's harmless. Emotions are just difficult for him to understand... but that's something for him to work on.
Anyhow, he's representing the little goat from Three Billy Goats Gruff, and now has the ears, horns, and tail to show it. But hey if you need someone to cross a bridge for you he's got that covered. Trolls won't stop him!!

Especially when she has other things to worry about, namely that she is now made of snow ~~and peace and love and butterflies~~. AKA Snegurochka. No idea what that's about? Bam. But basically, she's a snow girl. Yaaaay. Keep her away from fire please.

Meet Lucille from a fairly obscure canon about musical zombies, Grand Guignol Orchestra. While he looks, sounds (yes, sounds) and sometimes dresses up like a lady, he's a he and he will fight you for it. He's also a philomela, which is his world's special snowflake term for Disney princess and has totally nothing to do with the Greek myth. What it means is that when he sings, the birds sing along, the winds blow and the zombies start dying (and sometimes people, kinda sorta) I AM NOT KIDDING. I wish I was.

Anyway, he's sorted out as Queen Scheherazade from the Arabian Nights so I hope you guys are ready for some story-telling for a thousand and one nights. Possibly longer and with random singing. Looking forward to punting him around, yup!

My name is Kia, I am brand new to this game, and so in offering, I bring with me two characters: the first is Kiki from Akagami no Shirayukihime which is basically Snow White, if Snow White was a pharmacist who could look after herself. What you need to know about Kiki is that she's got the best poker face ever, she's great with a sword, and she will be turning into a bear every so often.

And my second is this bundle of energy and justice, otherwise known as Kay Faraday of Ace Attorney fame-- specifically the end of the first Investigations game. She'll be your friendly neighborhood Robin Hood, and she's more than willing to be friendly and chipper and dramatic. Unfortunately I'm going to have to bow out with both Loki and Rapunzel. Things have been hectic for me and I just never really got a chance to settle in. So rather than squat on spots that others might love to fill and will be active. I decided to let my characters go.

I am sorry to everyone I was threading with. Maybe when I am less busy I will come back, if not with Loki and Rapunzel then with someone else. But until then have a good one guys!

Hey folks! Tanya-mod here. I hope everyone had a bitchin' holiday!!! Mine and Miss Head Mod's were a little more hectic and/or emotionally draining than expected, and we super dropped the ball when it came to in-game holiday things.

Of course, that's not to say Santa didn't show up. Eventually. It took some convincing on his part to get the NPCs to agree to it, but he won in the end because he's Santa Motherhugging Claus. So on New Years', everyone will have gotten a smallish gift, though it's admittedly more in relation to their role than anything. Nothing too powerful or important to their story, of course. It might not even be something your character knows what to do with!

If you're not sure if something's small enough to work as this present, drop a comment here and we'll let you know.

We're going to try and have a great event this month to make up for the missed opportunities of December!

Hey guys, a couple of things to address!

First of all, some in-game news: Winter has begun, fairy tales and fables. Bundle up and prepare for freezing temperatures, frequent snowfall, and winter-themed tales getting a breath of life.

Second: your mods have really bare knowledge about coding, so to save the look of the taken page I've bumped everyone to a single form of contact in the lists. If it's not your preferred contact please reply to your original comment on the page and let us know what to change it to. (You can also provide a link to a post with more, if you'd prefer that. Just make sure it's public so people can see it.)

Third: Since ATP goes up in a week (on the 28th), if anyone has any characters they'd like to see in the game, or castmates they're itching for, hop over to the wanted characters meme. The list will go up in our next ad.

Finally, reserves open for the second time on Tuesday, December 24th!

Now for some less formal modnotes: I apologize for the slow NPC presence this week - a lot of us are busy with holidays and it turns out I was busier than I thought I would be. Expect to see more NPCs in the coming weeks. (Including the possibility of sighting a... let's call him 'jolly' fellow.)
