Hey MM!! I'm Cen and I'm bringing in this loser here, Kageyama from a manga called Haikyuu!! which is about volleyball and obviously volleyball is all he has on his brain. He tends to give off an aura of being grumpy all the time but I promise you he's actually not. He just has problems knowing how to act around people, oops.

Also, he'll be taking on the role of the Queen of Hearts from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland! He won't appreciate that at all because the last thing he wants is to have people being afraid of him and being called 'Your Highness' will piss him off most definitely. Please do that.

This is a little late, but better late than never, right? Anyways, hi there everyone! My name's CS and I'll be the resident Karkat here in mythmaking. For those that might not know, Karkat Vantas is from a webcomic known as Homestuck. He's a troll from a planet called Alternia and ended up playing a game that caused his planet to be destroyed, but ended with him creating the universe that humans reside in. On the outside he's pretty loud and shouty, with little patience for idiocy and won't be afraid to call you some kind of colourful curse if you annoy him. When you get to know him, he's actually kind of a softie, who enjoys watching romantic comedies and reading (somewhat trashy) romance novels. You can read more about him in my app, which is on this journal.

Karkat will be entering the game playing the part of Raven from the story How Raven Brought Light to the World. The main abilities Karkat will inherit from the story is Raven's shapeshifting ability and the gaining of Raven's 'identifiers' when he's in his usual form; whenever Raven transforms into a human, he always sports a few feathers or other bird-like identifiers to let people know that he is in fact Raven. So following that, Karkat will be getting a shiny new pair of wings to deal with as well.

I think that's everything that needs to be said! Normally I'd put up a permissions page for his typing quirk, but since the communicator journals have specifically announced that the writer writes in black and their recipient writes in dark green, Karkat won't be writing in HIS USUAL GREY FONT FOR HIS TYPING QUIRK. However, he probably will still write in ALL CAPS AND BLACK FONT TO MATCH THE BLACK INK OF THE JOURNAL. Feel free to leave a message on his font permissions page to let me know whether you mind his font or if you'd prefer me to type normally.

Running in at the last second and pretending I was here all the time

Hello folks! Nice to meet you all, I'm Zara and I'm bringing in this little tearaway ragamuffin known as Gavroche, from Les Misérables. He's your usual sort of plucky tearaway kid who happens to be a (sort of) orphan who runs around the streets of Paris, helping the students out in their little rebellion thing what they got planned. He's a good mix of Brick (the book) and musical canon, though I use the movie as his PB as that fits a little better to what I've roughly worked out his age to be.

Anyway, while he's here, my dear little gamin is going to be fulfilling the role of Peter Pan. I suspect he'll be mostly okay with this, but will abuse the ability to be able to fly. Also I should apologise in advance for any mis-spellings he makes on his log posts, but Gavroche only just learnt how to read and write, okay? He's not that good at the whole grammar and spelling thing yet.

Erm, wow, not sure what else to say here. Erm, yeah, think that's about it. Feel free to add me on plurk (werepuppy) if you feel like chatting though to be fair, I never seem to get on plurk as often as I'd like. But I will make more of an effort! So, erm, yeah. Hey - I'm Lil (or Lili - don't mind either to be honest) and I am bringing in Eponine from 'Les Miserables'. I'm guessing a lot of people have heard of Eponine before now , but just in case you haven't, she is the eldest daughter of a conman and a crook. As a child, she was pampered and adored, and she bullied Cosette. As a teenager, she is a starving waif, a thief and possibly being made to participate in other sordid activities as well. She is in love with a student called Marius and would do anything to make him happy. Oh- and Gavroche is her little brother. They're not particularly close.

In game, she will be epitomising 'The Little Match Girl', the heroine of Hans Christian Anderson's short story. I don't think Eponine will be happy when she realises: I reckon she'd much prefer Cinderella and a shot at the prince. But The Little Match Girl persona will at least help to make her realise that there is hope of simple pleasures and a better life.

Anyway, I think I've woffled on enough here. If you should like to add me, my plurk is pierette and I can be available on AIM as well (magpieandbuttons). I can't wait to meet you all and get going with our characters as well!
